Police have reported that a 25-year-old lady passed away after feeling sick at the Creamfields music event in Cheshire.

The South Welsh lady died early on Tuesday morning after being transported from the event to Warrington District General Hospital on Friday at approximately 10.15 p.m.

Although her death was not seen to be suspicious, according to the police, an investigation is still ongoing.

Her heirs have been notified.

A young woman’s terrible loss is heartbreaking, and our sympathies are with her family and friends at this trying time, said Superintendent Sarah Heath, who oversaw the enforcement effort for Creamfields 2022.

Although the reason of her death is now being investigated, nothing at this point points to any suspicious circumstances.

39 individuals were detained for a variety of offenses at this year’s festival, Cheshire’s largest annual event, according to the police.

In addition, 71 persons were taken from the event after police talked to them about having illicit narcotics in their hands and will now be handled with by the criminal court system.

42 other individuals received local resolution; although they were not detained, they were noted as drug users.

209 crimes in total were recorded for a range of offenses, with drug-related offenses accounting for 135 of them.

According to Ms. Heath, from Thursday and Monday this year, 69,000 people visited Creamfields 2022. We collaborated with the event planners and security personnel to tackle this enormous task of keeping illicit substances out of the venue.

There were drug dogs at the doors, options for placing illicit items and weapons in surrender bins, and thorough security staff searches at the entrances to the site.

“A deliberate effort was made to target people who were planning to sell illicit narcotics at the event, which accounted for more than half of the arrests made, while we used other enforcement tools at our disposal, such community resolutions, for lesser level offenses,” the statement said.

Everyone who was detained and is now the subject of an investigation for drug offenses “will now have to face the repercussions and pay the price for their conduct,” the statement reads.

It occurs just a few days after a 16-year-old died early on Sunday morning at Leeds Festival “after swallowing a grey or black MDMA tablet.”

The adolescent was identified by West Yorkshire Police as David Celino of Worsley, Salford.

At the Leeds Festival, David apparently consumed a “grey or black” MDMA pill before passing away tragically.

Since then, police have started looking into the teen’s possible drug-related death.

‘Our David was a lovely, fiercely independent and kind guy who lived every day at 110% and who liked to spend time enjoying music with his friends,’ his family said in a statement.

He just achieved excellent GCSE grades, was accepted into college, and intended to pursue a degree in computer technology at a prestigious institution.

“Leeds Festival was the high point of his summer, and in the end, it was to take his life in the most unjust, terrible, and horrific manner, and we are crushed,” his family said.
