In the Southern Downs region of Queensland, a teenager was killed after his ute lost control and collided with two incoming vehicles.
Sunday around 2.40 p.m., a horrific car accident occurred on a roadway at Gladfield, near Warwick, injuring five other persons.
The 17-year-old driver and only occupant of the pickup truck had life-threatening injuries and could not be revived at the scene.
Multiple emergency services, including a rescue helicopter, responded in force to the collision on the Cunningham Highway.
The five occupants of the remaining two automobiles were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation has been initiated into the crash.
The police have issued a call for witnesses and motorists with dashcam footage.
