40-year-old film exec ‘raped teenager twice at £900k London house’

A court heard that a prominent film executive twice sexually assaulted a young girl in his £900,000 north London house.

Theodore Freed is also charged with creating pornographic images of minors and attempting to engage in sexual communications with females who were underage, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard on Tuesday.

The 40-year-old is accused with ten offenses overall and appeared in court wearing a black coat, a black scarf, trousers, and tan shoes. The accusations against him are refuted by him.

When authorities searched Freed’s residence, according to prosecutor David Burns, they discovered illicit photographs on his computer.

District Judge Briony Clarke granted bail to Freed on the on that he stay at his present residence, refrain from contacting either of the rape complainants or anybody under the age of 18 in person or online.

The court cautioned, “If you violate any of these terms, you might be arrested and held in detention.”

Freed, of Maida Vale, is accused of two counts of rape, three counts of taking indecent pictures or fake pictures of children, three counts of trying to arrange or facilitate the commission of a child sex crime, one count of trying to have sex with a child, and one count of purposefully encouraging or assisting the commission of an either-way crime.

The film executive’s next court appearance is scheduled for October 25 at Southwark Crown Court, when he will enter a plea.
