All candidates who participated in the post-UTME screening exercise at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) can now check their admission status.
The ATBU admission list for the 2022/23 academic year, which includes the names of candidates given provisional admission, has been posted online.
How to Check ATBU Admission List
Currently, the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) prospective students can only access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:
- To access your Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) admission status, go to the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down then locate and click the Check Admission Status tab.
- Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
- Finally, click on Check Admission Status to access your ATBU admission status or click on ‘Access my CAPS‘ to access CAPS for Admission status and other related services.
Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress and regularly check the JAMB site and the University website for their admission status.
Candidates successfully admitted into the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) first-degree programmes are advised to:

You will be able to follow the procedure outlined below once the list is uploaded on the university website.
- Go to ATBU admission status checking portal at http://portal.atbu.edu.ng/screening/pages/login.php.
- Enter your JAMB registration number in the required column and select your institution.
- Finally, click on Login to access your ATBU admission status.
Successfully admitted candidates will see ‘CONGRATULATION! You have been shortlisted for physical screening‘ on their profile. Now, click on ‘Screening Downloads‘ to download your Screening Invitation letter and Screening Acknowledgement slips.
