However, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, cocreator and longtime writer and producer Amy Sherman-Palladino revealed that there were far more than 1,000 daisies in the room because the set was so enormous.

“A thousand yellow daisies sounds like a lot, but when you put them in a large room like our set, they resemble a table arrangement,” Sherman-Palladino explained to the publication. “We had to send someone back three or four times to retrieve yellow flowers. I believe we eradicated yellow daisies from the West Coast.”
