He made his acting debut in films such as “Little Big League” (1994) and “Three Wishes” (1995), as well as on the NBC sitcoms “Seinfeld” and “Will & Grace.”

Patterson worked on Cartoon Network’s “Justice League Unlimited” and “Her Best Move” during his time as Luke.

Patterson has continued to act in numerous genres.

She was well-known in Hollywood for “Dirty Dancing” (1987), “Six Degrees of Separation” (1993), and “Wonder Boys” (2000). However, a significant portion of her career came from her stage appearances in musicals such as “On the Town” (1971), “A Chorus Line” (1975), and “Six Degrees of Separation” (1990).

In 1976, she won a Tony Award for her performance as Shelia in “A Chorus Line.”

After “Gilmore Girls,” Bishop maintained her acting career and returned to the theater.

Bishop reconnected with “Gilmore Girls” showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino to star on ABC Family’s “Bunheads” and to reprise her legendary role on “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” after playing Emily Gilmore.

Herrmann was renowned for his contributions to “The Great Gatsby” (1974), “Annie” (1982), “Richie Rich” (1994), and “Nixon” (1995).

During his tenure on “Gilmore Girls,” he also appeared in “The Practice” on ABC, “The Aviator” (2004), and a number of documentaries.

His career as an actor lasted till his death in 2014.

Edward Herrmann died in 2014.

After “Gilmore Girls,” Herrmann continued his career in film and television.

He appeared on “Grey’s Anatomy” on ABC, “30 Rock” on NBC, “How I Met Your Mother” on CBS, and “The Good Wife” on CBS. He also had a tiny voice role in “The Wolf of Wall Street” (2013).

At the age of 71, the actor died of brain cancer in 2014.

Before playing Sookie St. James, Melissa McCarthy had minor roles on several television series.

McCarthy has achieved great success in comedy since her Sookie days.
