$1.6 billion Powerball winning numbers announced

Officials reported that the Powerball jackpot climbed to an estimated $1.6 billion prior to Saturday night’s drawing. Saturday’s winning numbers were 28, 45, 53, 56, 69, and 20 Powerball. It was yet unknown whether any winning tickets had been sold.

If the predicted amount holds and the grand prize is won, it would set a new record for the highest lottery reward ever awarded.

The prize can be awarded as an annuity over 29 years or as a lump sum payout of $782.4 million, according to officials.

Since August 3, when no one matched all five winning numbers and the Powerball, no one has been able to win the jackpot. The winning numbers from Wednesday night’s drawing were 2, 11, 22, 35, 60, and 23 for the Powerball.

The probability of winning everything is 1 in 292,2 million.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

The next Powerball drawing will be held on Saturday, November 5 at 10:59 p.m. ET at the Florida Lottery in Tallahassee.

Typically, ticket sales cease between one and two hours before the drawing, according to Powerball authorities. In New York, for instance, tickets are available until 10 p.m. on the evening before a drawing.

Highest Powerball jackpot ever

Since 2016, the largest Powerball prize has been $1.586 billion, which was split between winners in California, Florida, and Tennessee.

Mega Millions drawing days

Mega Millions is a unique multistate lottery game with drawings on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. ET. Two individuals who won a $1.337 billion Mega Millions jackpot earlier this year elected to receive $780.5 million in a single sum. The anticipated prize for Friday evening’s drawing was $119 million.
