This is to alert both new and returning students of Yobe State University (YSU) that the registration rules for the 2022/23 academic year have been announced.

New Students:

STEP 1: VISIT PORTAL

STEP 2: PROFILE DETAILS

Each symbol on the student profile reflects a portion of the registration process.
Click on each and fill out the appropriate fields.

After updating your Contact and Health Information and registering for a course, click the Download Course Registration Form button.

Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code will be created at this point. You must pay online or copy the RRR code and pay at any Bank Branch (no account number is required for payment).

No physical copies will be accepted by the Faculties, Departments, Exams & Records, or Bursary.

Returning Students:

STEP 1: SCREENING

Prospective student presents original credentials and admission letter to the registration committee.

STEP 2: ONLINE REGISTRATION
Upon completion of screening, if deemed acceptable. The student must then report to ICT to register online.

RRR code will be produced for direct payment with an ATM card or for printing of an invoice to be paid at any bank branch.
Print the Course Registration Form (CRF) once payment has been made.

STEP 3: MEDICAL EXAMINATION

Student reports to the university clinic for a physical examination and fitness certificate.

FOURTH STEP: UPLOAD CERTIFICATE

Student returns with a medical certificate of fitness for scanning and uploading to their student profile.

PHASE 5: IDENTIFICATION CARD COLLECTION

ICT will provide ID cards to students.
