Fireboy, a YBNL signee, has set August 5th as the release date for his third studio album, “Playboy.”

In a tweet on Wednesday, the “Peru” singer revealed the album’s cover, release date, and pre-save link.

Fireboy tweeted, “my third studio album, “playboy” – out on the 5th of August. available for pre-save now.”

“Playboy” comes after Fireboy’s 2020 album “Apollo” and his debut album “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps” in 2019.

The new album features “Peru” and its hit remix featuring Ed-Sheeran, as well as his now-viral “Playboy” track, which bears the album’s name.

It also includes “Bandana,” which features labelmate Asake and will be released on Friday, June 8th.

With a live rendition of “Playboy” last month, Fireboy became the first afrobeats performer at the 2022 BET Awards.

In February, the artist received a plaque for reaching 300 million+ streams on Audiomack.

Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps, his debut album, received 153 million streams, while Apollo, his sophomore album, received 154 million plays on Audiomack. The rest of the streams were generated by his singles.
