Beyoncé Announces ‘Renaissance’ Album Release Date

The “act i” of the 16-song project is scheduled to drop on July 29.

The announcement of Beyoncé’s album release comes after the Grammy Award-winning singer removed her profile photographs from social media, leading fans to believe she was making a comeback. ‘Act I, RENAISSANCE, 7.29’ is now written in her Instagram and Twitter biographies.

Several music services, including Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and YouTube, have revealed Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, which will be titled ‘Act I, Renaissance.’

Beyoncé’s sixth studio album, “Lemonade,” was followed by “Reinassance.”

“Lemonade”, released in April 2016, is often considered Beyoncé’s most experimental album yet, including a range of styles such as rock, pop, R&B, and reggae. It included smash songs like Formation, Hold Up, and Sorry, as well as themes like Black excellence and Jay-Z’s adultery.

Last year, the Halo singer hinted about themes for her upcoming album after writing new songs amid the Covid epidemic.

‘With all the isolation and unfairness of the past year, I think we are all eager to leave, travel, love, and laugh again,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar in August 2021. I see a renaissance taking shape, and I want to be a part of nourishing it in whatever way I can.

‘I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half.’
