Woman stabs a Woolworths employee in Ellenbrook Central, West Australia

On Tuesday, a female staff member was stabbed inside a Woolworths shop, prompting police to arrest a lady.

The victim, a lady in her forties, was brought to Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia at around 12:55 p.m. local time (2.55pm Australian east coast time).The police would like to speak to anyone who saw a woman running from the shopping precinct around the time of the incident. The suspected assailant then left the area on foot, but was captured by police later.

The event occurred in the store’s pet food aisle, which is now a crime scene.

As they collect evidence, forensic police officials have erected screens in aisle 14 and are preventing access to it.

A member of staff at a neighboring coffee shop said that she did not hear any noise and was astonished to learn that a lady had been stabbed.

She told The West Australian, “No one was yelling or weeping; we have no idea what occurred.”

The event occurred at the supermarket’s Ellenbrook Central location in Perth’s north-eastern suburbs, and the police initiated an inquiry into it immediately.

They would want to contact with anybody who saw a lady fleeing the retail district around the time of the event or who has cellphone video of the incident or the woman’s flight.
