A little girl tragically died in a play park in Rotherham, South Yorkshire on Easter Sunday, reportedly due to a problem with her pacemaker, according to mothers of other children at the scene.

Witnesses claimed that they heard someone shout about the pacemaker before an adult started performing CPR on the girl.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was also deployed as officers swarmed the play park, and put a cordon in place.

Unfortunately, the child was pronounced dead at the scene.

A mother who was present at the park when the incident occurred stated that everything was normal until she saw some kids run over to some adults, shouting something like “It’s her pacemaker”.

The mother added that the children who were shouting were telling their parents what had happened, and the parents were trying to do CPR.

Another mother also heard that it was a problem with the girl’s pacemaker, and that the child and the family were escorted to the hospital but it was too late.
