Will Biden be okay after this Covid-19 Notice?

Just four days after meeting with President Joe Biden at the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Monday that he had tested positive for covid.

Trudeau, who was at the conference with his wife Sophie, claimed he has been vaccinated and given a boost. He’ll be isolating himself and feeling ‘fine.’

‘I’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19.’ I’ll be isolated and following public health rules. I’m fine, but that’s because I’ve had my injections. So, if you haven’t already, get vaccinated – and boosted if possible. ‘Let’s defend our healthcare system, each other, and ourselves,’ he tweeted.

On Thursday in Los Angeles, Trudeau, 50, and Biden, 50, held a bilateral meeting. Joe and Jill Biden held a dinner for Trudeau and Sophie on Thursday night. On Friday, the Canadian prime minister joined the ‘family photo’ of American leaders.

The White House stated that Biden ‘is not a close contact as defined by the CDC.’

A close contact, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is someone who has spent more than 15 minutes within six feet of a positive person.
