Police are searching for a violent thug who was captured on CCTV in broad daylight seizing a man from behind, knocking him to the ground, and stealing his $1,250 watch.
Following the heist in Fulham, detectives have published a video and photo of a suspect they wish to talk with.
On September 1, shortly after noon, the victim, who is in his fifties, was walking through Bayonne Park.
He went away after observing the suspect approach other members of the public, but he was then attacked.
During the horrific assault, the victim was dragged to the ground and then his head was bashed into the ground.
The police report that his attacker ordered him to remove his Tag Heuer watch, which begins at £1,250.

The victim attempted to fight back, but the suspect began repeatedly punching and kicking him in the face.
He sensed the culprit take his watch, potentially causing damage to the pin.
The culprit fled, but returned minutes later to grab Motorola cell phones from the victim. He fled toward the south on Paynes Walk.
The victim was hospitalized for head injuries. This assault left him with a cracked eye socket, extensive bruises, and facial swelling.

The investigation is being led by Detective Inspector James Griffin, who stated, ‘This was an extraordinarily brutal incident, and my team needs the public’s assistance to apprehend this man. All of our boroughs will continue to be patrolled by specialized squads devoted to combating theft.
We are doing everything possible to identify the perpetrator before he can inflict further damage. Please notify us immediately if you were contacted by this man in the park or witnessed anything suspicious.’
The suspect is a black man with an athletic frame, short black hair, and a light beard. He was wearing a green hoodie jumper with light grey bottoms.
