Washington, D.C: Pregnancy resource center vandalized

This week, red paint and graffiti were sprayed on a pregnancy resource facility in Washington, D.C. The attack is the latest in a series of assaults on pro-life organizations and Catholic churches.

A splatter of red paint covers the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center’s white door in photos from the May 3 vandalism. The words “Jane says revenge” are spray painted in black on the brick outside of the building.

The center’s executive director, Anet Durig, told The Daily Signal that she found out it had been vandalized when a neighbor called to inform her. The incident took place between late Thursday night and early Friday morning, according to the Daily Signal.

“It’s awful that someone feels they have to do this when we aid so many people,” Durig told The Daily Signal.

By the time of publication, Durig had not responded to CNA’s request for comment.

Wisconsin Family Action’s Madison headquarters was set on fire on May 8. “Inside the building, a molotov cocktail was hurled that did not ignite. In addition, it appears that a separate fire was sparked as a result of the incident “According to a police report. “If abortions aren’t safe, then neither are you,” claimed graffiti left outside the building.

Molotov cocktails were hurled into Oregon Right to Life’s offices in Keizer on May 8, causing a small fire, according to the organization. No one was injured in the incident, which was promptly put out.
