The Project host Waleed Aly encouraged viewers to consider the juvenile driver in a fatal ute accident that claimed the lives of five of his friends and the toll he will have to bear.

Tuesday night, around 100 kilometers southwest of Sydney, Tyrell Edwards, 18, was driving a Nissan Navara pickup that went off the road and crashed into a tree.

The single survivor, a driver with a P-plate, was discovered beside the disaster at 8 p.m. on East Parade, Buxton, a 1,000-person community near Picton.

There were no other automobiles involved in the collision.

Three girls and two guys, all 14 to 16 years old and classmates at Picton High School, were tragically killed.

Aly stated that he was not assuming fault but added: “We should not forget the survivor.

Imagine what he will have to endure in addition to living in a small town.
