The Piccadilly line was suspended between Hyde Park Corner and Cockfosters, and the remainder of the line experienced significant delays. The Northern Line also experienced delays.

TfL announced that services have restarted on all three lines, however there are still delays on the Piccadilly Line, after commuters reported problems.

Transport for London (TfL) stated that “power supply issues” are causing serious disruptions to London Underground services.

Earlier during rush hour, there were no trains on the whole Victoria line due to the problem.

A TfL representative stated, “We apologize to customers of the Piccadilly, Northern, and Victoria lines for this morning’s delays.

This was caused by a temporary power outage at a number of network points. Normal service is being restored as rapidly as feasible by engineers.

TfL has warned that certain of its services may be busier than usual due to the large number of people visiting London to pay their condolences and attend memorial activities following the passing of the Queen.
