An enormous firestorm explosion was caused today when a Ukrainian kamikaze drone crashed into a significant refinery within Russian territory.

Video depicts the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flying low above the Rostov region, which borders Ukraine, in the direction of the Novoshakhtinsk oil plant.

Then, as shown on video, the drone strikes the oil refinery, setting off a huge explosion that can be heard ten miles away.

The critical strategic facilities, which were about four miles from the pro-Putin puppet state Luhansk People’s Republic in Ukraine, were engulfed in flames and black smoke flowed from them.

Russian workers, who unintentionally recorded the drone hit, were heard smiling as the drone flew close to them; but, after it struck the refinery, they became terrified and cursed frequently, with one worker yelling “f*****g get away.”

As black smoke billowed into the air, footage from the scene showed firefighters struggling to put out the fire.

The inbound drone, initially believed to be a Turkish-made Bayraktar but later identified as a Ukrainian UAV PD-1 or PD-2, eluded Russian air defenses.

According to some sources, the facility was attacked by two drones, one of which is visible.

While another lay on the ground in between two enormous oil tanks, it was what caused the explosion.

On a video, adjacent workers can be heard watching the military drone as it approaches.

They were first at ease as it soared close to them, but as the unmanned drone hit the oil plant and caused a massive explosion, they began to swear constantly.

One may be heard asking, “Didn’t it come from the Ukrainian side?”

One more responds, “Yes, yes.”

One queries, “Do we cease working?”

The factory is on fire, another responds. Run away like a fiend.

The greatest oil provider in southern Russia is supposedly the Novoshakhtinsk refinery.

It was originally controlled by offshore businesses connected to Viktor Medvedchuk, a close associate of Putin who was jailed by the Kyiv authorities, as had been indicated. It is now owned by the Research and Design Institute of Oil and Gas Peton, from Ufa.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ regional head office’s press service confirmed the fire.

The threat of the fire spreading was allegedly nonexistent.

It stated that no one had been hurt.

It was unknown how much harm had been done to the Russian military’s oil supplies.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, “around 9:25 am Moscow time, information was received that a fire had occurred in a heat exchanger at the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery spanning an area of 50 square meters.”

There were apparently 12 fire teams on the scene.
