UNIJOS Pre-Degree Form – The University of Jos (UNIJOS) administration is already offering application forms for admission into its Pre-Degree Science/Remedial program for the 2022/2023 academic session.
The administration of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) welcomes suitable applicants to apply for admission to its REMEDIAL/PRE-DEGREE SCIENCES PROGRAM for the 2022/2023 academic session.
UNIJOS Pre-Degree Programme Requirements
To be eligible for admission, candidates must hold WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ LEVEL results in the following subjects: Mathematics or Further Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics, and either Biology or Agric Science or Geography or Technical Drawing or Fine Art.
The UNIJOS Pre-Degree Science course is designed exclusively for science students who wish to pursue a degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Education, Medical Lab Science (MLS), Biochemistry, Science Lab Technology (SLT), Computer Science, Engineering, Agriculture, or any single honours Degree course in the Faculty of Natural Sciences and other science disciplines.
The 2022/2023 Unijos Remedial Sciences program will also:
Conduct JAMB/UTME clinic in Seven (7) Months beginning in October 2022 to allow Candidates to be properly prepared for the 2023/2024 JAMB/UTME test by rigorous teaching/coaching from Monday to Friday.
Nine (9) Months of Intensive Instruction and Laboratory Exercises in the Subjects to Better Prepare Candidates for the Relevant 100 Level Degree Program at Unijos.
Those who engage in the Unijos Remedial Sciences curriculum will be automatically placed in the University of Jos Degree degrees if they successfully finish the programme as outlined below:
Achieves a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 40% in each course completed, with a minimum attendance rate of 75% in both classroom and laboratory settings.
Chooses University of Jos as first preference in JAMB/UTME and meets the Unijos minimum score requirement (Which may be reviewed every academic year)
UNIJOS Pre-Degree School Fees
***NEW FEES HAVE BEEN ADDED FOR THE 2022/2023 SCHOOL YEAR, AS FOLLOWS:
REGISTRATION FEE is N30,000 (THIRTY THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY)
SCHOOLBILLS are N70,000 (SEVENTY THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY)
The total amount due is N100,000 (ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY)
Obtaining the UNIJOS Pre-Degree Form
Online application forms are accessible at http://portal.unijos.edu.ng for a fee of fifteen thousand Naira (N15,000.00) payable only via Remita.
Where to Apply
Account creation and activation is the first step.
Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng
Select Remedial Sciences from the Program Menu by clicking on Remedial Sciences.
Complete the online registration form (Ensure to provide functional email and phone number)
When finished, click Register to submit (An activation link will be given to the email address provided. Sign in to the email and click the link to activate your account and continue with registration)
Payment for the Application Form (Step 2)
Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng
Click on the LOGIN button.
Enter your email address and password, then click the Log In button (You will be logged in to your personalized dashboard)
Click on Application Fee, followed by Pay Application Fees. (A window with payment information will appear.)
Click the SELECT PAYMENT button.
Choose your chosen method of payment (Bank Branch, Card, etc.) and give the relevant information.
Follow the instruction until the payment is processed successfully.
After successful payment, print the receipt. Also print the second copy of the receipt that was sent to you.
Step 3: Registration of Personal Information
Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng
Click on the LOGIN button.
Enter your email address and password, then click Login (You will be logged in to your personalized dashboard)
Click on My Account
Select Edit/Add Bio-Data
Complete the registration process online. Ensure that you submit all of the relevant information on each tab: bio-data, result, sponsor, next of kin, passport and signature upload.
Once you have completed the form, click the Submit button. Print and retain a copy for future use)
