Ukrainian drone hits a Russian tank as Putin’s army suffers heavy losses

As Putin’s military continues to suffer crushing casualties, this is the exact moment a Ukrainian drone in the country’s south destroyed a Russian tank.

The tank attempted to bury itself in the corner of a field when the drone dropped at least six bombs on it, as shown in video taken on Friday in the Kherson area.

The 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade of Ukraine said that the explosives had destroyed the tank before adding, “Minus one!”

It occurs as Ukraine launches a counterattack in the area, and according to Nataliya Humenyuk, a military spokesperson, some Russian soldiers are attempting to negotiate a surrender.

According to a brigade spokeswoman, intelligence from the 123rd Territorial Defence Brigade and a Special Operations Forces unit in the region of Kherson resulted in the destruction of a Russian tank.

“The operation was well prepared.” Together we will prevail!

A publicly publicised effort by Ukraine to retake Kherson from Russian control has seen counterattacks since late August.

The soldiers of Kyiv spent weeks before to the battle destroying railroad bridges and the Dnipro River’s bridges using US HIMARS launchers.

As a result, neither the Russian forces on the western bank nor the occupying forces on the eastern side had an easy path to reinforce the former.

According to some estimates, Putin’s generals may have sent up to 30,000 soldiers to the area, but they are now mired in conflict.

Ukraine has made gradual but steady progress, according to Nataliya Humenyuk, a spokeswoman for the southern military command of Ukraine, who said that some Russian forces are now attempting to negotiate their surrender.

Russian troops being constrained in the south has given Ukraine the chance to launch a second, unexpected counterattack out of Kharkiv.

In only a few days of battle, Kyiv’s soldiers were able to seize more than 1,000 square kilometres of terrain, making the operation a surprising success.

Russian soldiers retreated from their positions in what amounted to a rout while offering little opposition, abandoning scores of tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery pieces in their wake.

It is currently believed that Ukraine has regained control of the whole Kharkiv area, including the train connections that supplied Russian soldiers in the Donbas with supplies.

That raises the possibility of the failure of Russia’s whole eastern push, which may be disastrous for Putin’s entire invasion.

The Russian defence ministry has made an effort to characterise the loss as a’regrouping’ of forces from the adjacent towns of Donetsk and Balakliya to “increase operations in the region.”

However, the usual pro-Russian military bloggers and Kremlin friends responded angrily, and Ramzan Kadyrov of Chechnya vowed to make the position clear to military leaders and the government.

They have made errors, but I believe they will learn from them, Kadyrov added.

“I will be obliged to contact the leadership of the Defense Ministry and the leadership of the nation to explain the true situation on the ground if they don’t make adjustments in the plan of executing the special military operation in the next day or two.”
