Ukraine Prepares for Offensive Attack

In an interview with La Stampa, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will launch a counteroffensive in two months.

He stated that the military requires more heavy 155 mm artillery shells, and that Kiev plans to reorganise within the next two months.

Vladimir Rogov, a member of the administration of the Zaporozhye (Zaporizhzhia) region, previously announced that Kiev was preparing for a spring offensive near the Russian-controlled territory of Zaporizhzhia.

This suggests that Ukraine is actively preparing for a military confrontation with Russia, which has been occupying parts of eastern Ukraine since 2014.

It remains to be seen how this will affect the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

The situation is complex and fluid, with both sides engaging in military posturing and rhetoric. The international community will be closely watching the situation and hoping for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
