Two died in Oregon Safeway shooting

On Sunday night in Bend, Oregon, a shooter opened fire inside a retail center, leaving three people dead.

175 miles southeast of Portland lies the city of Bend. The Forum Shopping Center is where the event happened.

According to Sheila Miller, a spokeswoman for the Bend Police Department, the gunfire started near to the mall’s Big Lots shop. The shooter then continued his rampage, killing a person at the Safeway supermarket’s entrance.

Miller claims that a second individual was slain near the rear of the shop.

The shooter is the other victim, according to Miller.

The weapon, according to Miller, is a “assault-style rifle.”

Around 7 o’clock local time, emergency services were summoned to the mall.

Social media images and videos revealed a significant police presence at the mall. The public has been warned to stay away from the area by the Bend Police Department.

The Bend Bulletin was informed by a Safeway employee that the shooter opened fire “several bullets” inside the store.

According to KTVZ, St. Charles Medical Center reported receiving two patients, of which one was already dead when they arrived.

The suspect was identified by many witnesses as being dressed in all black and carrying two duffel bags, according to the station.
