TV legend Ken Sutcliffe annoyed by Scott’s ex spreading false rumors against him

Ken Sutcliffe, a well-known anchor for Channel Nine, has spoken out against rumors being spread by his son’s former boyfriend, Trent Lynch, who has been charged with stalking and harassment. Lynch is accused of using a carriage service to menace, harass, and offend Scott Sutcliffe, Ken’s only son, over a four-month period from November to February. Additionally, Lynch is charged with stalking his former partner on Valentine’s Day with the intention of causing fear of physical or mental harm.

Sutcliffe Jr and Lynch were reportedly together for 17 years before their recent breakup, and Lynch claims he was an intrinsic part of the Sutcliffe family. However, he is now threatening to reveal unsubstantiated and therefore un-publishable explosive gossip and is offering to sell information to the media.

In response to these claims, Ken Sutcliffe stated that he does not care what Lynch says, as he has been arrested and charged for threatening their lives. He clarified that this is a private matter between his son and Lynch and that Lynch has been told by the police that he must behave himself. Lynch is due to appear in court on March 7 in connection with the stalking allegations.

Lynch is not charged with intimidating the rest of the Sutcliffe family, and police are taking out an apprehended violence order on Scott Sutcliffe’s behalf against Lynch, which includes standard conditions that he not stalk or harass him. Ken Sutcliffe lives with his wife of 53 years, Anne, in Putta Bucca, just outside Mudgee in the NSW central west, and Scott is believed to have recently relocated to Mudgee as well.

Lynch was granted conditional bail after being charged and will appear before the Downing Centre Local Court on March 7. The allegations against Lynch involve the harassment of a 42-year-old man, and he has been charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal) and use carriage service to menace/harass/offend.
