Trump rails against Biden after ‘awkward and angry’ Pennsylvania speech

He must be either mad or suffering from advanced dementia! After Biden’s ‘awkward and furious’ Pennsylvania address, Trump demands that someone explain MAGA to him’slowly but passionately’

'Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represented extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,' President Joe Biden said during his speech

Biden declared Donald Trump is a 'threat to the country' in a speech that contained his harshest rhetoric to date about his predecessor in the Oval Office and the MAGA movement

The White House said Biden wouldn't be giving a political speech, but he took direct aim at Trump, who is mulling a 2024 challenge to Biden, and at Republicans, who are attempting to win control of Congress in the midterm election

Using his own social media network, Truth Social, the former president criticized his political successor, accusing him of’suffering from late-stage dementia’ or ‘being nuts.’

The remarks followed Biden’s 24-minute speech in front of Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, during which he criticized Trump and MAGA Republicans for being a danger to the Constitution.

Biden, 79, said that Trump was a ‘danger to the country’ in a speech that had his toughest comments to date about his predecessor in the White House and the MAGA movement.

A few hours later, Trump, age 76, reacted to his political opponent, claiming that Biden’s stinging speech proved he should ‘not be representing the United States of America.’

Donald Trump retaliated against Joe Biden after the president criticized him at Thursday’s’soul’ of the nation address in Philadelphia – a speech in which the president asserted that Biden and his supporters constituted a threat to US democracy.

The remarks followed Biden’s 24-minute speech in front of Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, in which he criticized Trump and MAGA Republicans as a danger to the Constitution, claiming the ex-president was out to ‘destroy American democracy’ with his millions of fans.

In a speech that used his toughest language to date about his predecessor in the Oval Office and the MAGA movement, Biden, 79, warned that Trump was a “danger to the country.”

A few hours later, Trump, 76, replied to his political opponent by claiming that Biden’s stinging address – in which the president was flanked by two Marines against an almost apocalyptic backdrop – proved that he should ‘not be representing the United States of America.’

Using his own social media network, Truth Social, the former president criticized his political successor, accusing him of’suffering from late-stage dementia’ or ‘being nuts.’

In a subsequent post published minutes after, Trump proceeded to attack his opponent, stating, “Someone should explain to Joe Biden, slowly but passionately, that MAGA means, as potently as simple words can be, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

‘If you look at the language and meaning of Biden’s uncomfortable and furious speech tonight, he threatened America, including the use of military action,’ Trump said in a late-night post published shortly before 12 a.m. ET on Friday. He must be either mad or suffering from advanced dementia!

In a subsequent post published minutes after, Trump proceeded to attack his opponent, proposing that’someone should explain to Joe Biden slowly but passionately that MAGA means, as potently as mere words can get, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!’

He continued, “If he doesn’t want to Restore America’s Greatness, which is evident in his words, actions, and thoughts, then he has no business representing the United States of America!”

It follows the White House’s assertion that Biden was not delivering a political address. However, he took direct aim at Trump, who is considering a challenge to Biden in 2024, and the Republicans, who are hoping to reclaim control of Congress in the midterm elections.

Everyone must do their part. So speak out, speak out, get active, vote, vote, vote,’ the president added during his speech.

And Biden pledged to safeguard the republic, positioning himself as the champion of democracy.

“I will not be a bystander. I will not allow the will of the American people to be reversed by crazy conspiracy theories, allegations without proof, or fraud. I will not stand by and let those who refuse to accept defeat to steal elections in this nation,’ he declared.

As your president, I will protect our democracy with every ounce of my being, and I encourage every American to do the same.

Biden took direct aim at Trump, who is considering a 2024 challenge to Biden, and Republicans, who are aiming to reclaim control of Congress in the midterm elections, despite the White House’s assertion that he would not be delivering a political address.

“I will not be a bystander. I will not allow the will of the American people to be thwarted by outlandish conspiracy theories, allegations without proof, or fraud. I will not allow our country’s elections to be stolen by those who refuse to concede defeat,’ said the president.

Biden also addressed MAGA Republicans who refuse to recognize the 2020 election results, despite the failure of court lawsuits, state ‘audits,’ and hundreds of court filings to reveal widespread electoral fraud.

Since Biden’s inauguration, Trump backers have been able to install persons who dispute the election results in state capitals in many states, and a significant number of Republican officials continue to deny that Biden’s election was legal.

They embrace hostility. They thrive in disorder. They live in the shadow of falsehoods rather than the sunshine of the truth,’ Biden stated in another of his MAGA-related comments.

He called them out directly for rejecting his electoral victory.

This country appreciates fair and free elections. We respect the will of the people; we do not deny it,’ stated the president.

Then he delivered a line that appeared to be directed at Trump.

He stated that he would not permit the will of the American people to be reversed by crazy conspiracy theories and charges of fraud unsupported by proof. I will not stand by and let those who refuse to accept defeat to steal elections in our nation.

Biden was accompanied by the trappings of the presidency, as two Marines stood at attention before to his entry. On stage, ‘Hail to the Chief’ was performed for him. Jill Biden was his travel companion.

The president spoke outside of Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, the location where the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were discussed and enacted.

As Biden spoke, the room was illuminated with red and blue light. Multiple American flags surrounded the stage.
