Trump mocks Biden over funeral seating

Donald Trump has ridiculed Joe Biden for sitting in the fourteenth row at Queen Elizabeth’s official burial.

The “Apprentice” star, whose term as president ended in January 2021, criticized the organisers of the service at London’s Westminster Abbey on Monday for showing “no respect” to the United States, claiming they would never have asked him to sit seven rows from the back of the building if he were still in office.

Trump published a photograph of the assembled world leaders with a red arrow pointing toward his successor on his social media platform Truth Social.

“This is what’s happened to America in just two short years,” he captioned the image. No regard!

“However, it would be an excellent time for our president to become acquainted with the leaders of various Third World nations.

“Had I been elected president, they would not have seated me in the back – and our nation would be very different than it is now!

Location is everything in real estate, just as it is in politics and life.

The president and his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, were sat in the same row as the president of Switzerland and the vice president of China. The Czech prime minister, Petr Fiala, was right behind them, while the Polish president, Andrzej Duda, was in front.

Due to convention, Commonwealth leaders were seated in front of those from other countries. As a result, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern were positioned closer to the front.

Biden paid respect to the “good, honorable” queen before her funeral.

On the weekend, while signing a book of condolences at Lancaster House, he stated, “We’ve had the opportunity to interact with a great number of influential people. Individuals who stick out in your mind are those whose interactions with you and relationship with you are consistent with their reputation.

“When the Queen invited us to her palace for tea, she kept offering me more crumpets. I continued to consume everything she placed in front of me.

“In person, she matched her reputation – she was respectful, honorable, and devoted to service.

“My heart goes out to the Royal Family, to King Charles and the entire family. It’s a loss that leaves a gaping hole, and sometimes you feel like you’ll never get over it. However, as I’ve told the King, she’ll be with him every step of the way, every minute, every second, and that’s a comforting thought.

“Therefore, to the people of England and the United Kingdom, our hearts go out to you, and you were fortunate to have had her for seven decades. We were each. The world is better thanks to her.”
