The estranged wife of a transgender woman who was convicted of raping two women while she was a man has accused the “monster” of “bulls—-ing” officials to obtain “an easier life in prison” after the transgender woman was transferred to a female prison pending punishment.

Shonna Graham, 31, told the Daily Mail that she only knew Isla Bryson, also 31, as Adam Graham, the identity he was still using in 2020 when he was first accused of raping two women.

“When I saw the photographs of the “monster” rapist dressed as a woman with a blonde wig and pink lycra leggings, I burst out laughing,” she claimed.

Never once did he mention feeling like he was in the wrong body or anything else.

Graham stated that she has “a lot of sympathy for actual transgender people,” but that the 2016 rapist she married is “just lying to the authorities.”

Graham, without adopting her husband’s preferred new pronoun, stated, “His gender transition is a ruse for attention and an easier life in prison.”

Shonna Graham, age 31, stated that her husband’s change to Isla Bryson was a “sham” to obtain an easier jail life.

She claimed, “I can see why he doesn’t want to be in prison with a bunch of big scary men, so he devised this scheme to get himself a much lighter sentence.”

She deemed it “outrageous” that the rapist, who had a shaved head and a face tattoo in the style of Mike Tyson when he assaulted two women in 2016 and 2019, will be locked up with women.

“Will one of the vulnerable female prisoners be his next victim?” she questioned.

“He cannot stop, it’s not in his nature… She said, “He’s a monster, and I hope they throw away the key.”

Graham told the source that she is seeking a divorce from the felon, accusing him of domestic violence and attempted rape.

Bryson is reportedly being detained in solitary confinement at Cornton Vale women’s jail until her sentencing at the end of February.

She is permitted to serve her sentence in a women’s prison due to a contentious new law in Scotland that permits a person to legally alter their gender without a gender dysphoria diagnosis.

Graham described her husband as a “monster” who poses a threat to women and should be imprisoned with them.
The Police in Scotland

Russell Findlay, a conservative member of the Scottish Parliament, stated, “It is utterly bizarre that a Scottish court refers to a transgender man who raped two vulnerable women by using ‘her penis’.”

“We warned that this was inevitable,” he said of the new law, “but the fact that it has become a reality is deeply troubling and an insult to the victims.”

“The wizard Harry Potter” J.K. Rowling is among those who have criticized the law, branding the First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, a “destroyer of women’s rights.”

The Justice Secretary of the United Kingdom, Dominic Raab, emphasized that the same laws do not apply in England and Wales, where transitioning adults can only apply for a Gender Recognition Certificate after two years of living under their preferred gender, as opposed to three months in Scotland.

He also stated that transgender women who have committed sex crimes or who have retained male genitalia cannot be kept in women’s prisons “except in the most exceptional cases.”
