An inquest at Bournemouth revealed that Joe Abbess, 17, and Sunnah Khan, 12, tragically drowned after being caught in a riptide at Bournemouth beach.
Despite their rescue from the sea during the incident, both youngsters passed away later in the hospital.
The inquest into their deaths is expected to commence on Monday, pending confirmation by HM Coroner.

A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter but was released pending further investigation.
