Tom Sizemore dies of brain aneurysm 61

Tom Sizemore, the well-known actor who recently suffered from a brain aneurysm that resulted in a coma, has passed away at the age of 61. The actor’s manager confirmed the news on Friday, stating that he died peacefully in his sleep at St Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank.

Sizemore was widely recognized for his roles in hit movies such as Saving Private Ryan, Heat, Natural Born Killers, and Black Hawk Down.

The actor collapsed in his home on February 18, following a stroke that caused a brain aneurysm. He was found unconscious in his home in the early hours of the morning. After the incident, Sizemore was kept in critical condition, in a coma, and in intensive care.

On February 27, Sizemore’s manager revealed that the doctors had recommended an end-of-life decision and informed his family that there was “no further hope”.

Following this, the actor’s representatives stated that a private cremation service for the family would be held, with a larger celebration of life event planned in a few weeks.

Throughout his life, the actor struggled with drug addiction and legal issues, which led to controversy. His co-star from the film Heat, Robert De Niro, once staged an intervention, and he was imprisoned for six months in 2003 for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend, “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss. In 2018, he was accused of groping Kiersten Pyke on the set of Born Killers in 2003 when she was 11 years old. However, the lawsuit was dismissed in 2020 following a police investigation. In 2019, he was arrested for misdemeanor drug possession.

Sizemore was previously married to actress Maeve Quinlan, and he is survived by his two 17-year-old twin sons, Jayden and Jagger. His brother, Paul Sizemore, expressed his sorrow at the loss of his brother, saying that he was talented, loving, and entertaining, and had greatly influenced his life. Charles Lago, the actor’s manager, also spoke of his admiration for the actor’s courage and determination through adversity.
