Tina Turner laments the untimely passing of her “loving” son Ronnie at age 62.
“Ronnie, you left the world far too early. Friday, the singer accompanied a black-and-white Instagram photo of herself with her eyes closed with the words, “In grief I close my eyes and think about you, my dear boy.”
Ronnie passed away on December 8th. His cause of death is now unknown, but he had been afflicted with numerous health problems, including cancer, in recent years.
Afida, Ronnie’s wife, offered an emotional tribute to the actor on Instagram following his passing.
“My god Ronnie turner a true angel huge soul highly spiritual my husband my best friend my baby iyour [sic] mother your nurse I did the best to the end this time I was not able to save you love u for this 17 years this is very very very bad I am very angry,” Afida captioned a series of photos of her late husband.

“It is so unfair that you, your brother Craig, your father Ike Turner, and your mother Aline lie in paradise.”
The couple was childless.
Ronnie’s death follows his older brother Craig’s suicide by self-inflicted gun shot wound in 2018 at age 59.
Tina stated in an interview with the BBC three months later, “I still don’t know what sent him over the edge because at the time he told me that he had never met a woman he felt that way about.”
“In August, he was bringing her to meet me for his birthday.” He had adorned the apartment I had purchased for him years prior. He was really pleased with his new position at a prestigious California real estate firm.
The vocalist of “What’s Love Got to Do with It” also lost her son, Craig.

A year later, Tina, 83, stated that she suspected his suicide was caused by loneliness.
“I believe Craig was lonely; I believe that’s what got him more than anything else,” she stated.
“I have numerous photographs of him smiling, and I believe I can sense that he is in a wonderful place. I truly do.”
