Tiger recaptured ALIVE in Edenvale, according to report

On Monday morning, the tiger that was discovered prowling about Edenvale, east of Johannesburg, has been recaptured.

Gary Wilson of S.W.A.T. SOS 24/7 informed the media that the tiger had been located, sedated, and relocated to a sanctuary.

However, Edenvale SPCA inspector Hope Mokalapa stated there was no evidence that the tiger had been darted.

The tiger is reportedly approximately nine months old.

Monday around 5:20 a.m., surveillance footage of the tiger surfaced, leading police to warn homeowners to be vigilant and keep all animals indoors.

After eight years, Bob the sea turtle returns to the ocean at Two Oceans Aquarium.

The owner of the animal is unknown, but it is NOT Rassie Erasmus, the owner of the tiger that was shot and killed in Walkerville last week after escaping its cage.

According to The South African website, an eight-year-old female tiger named Sheba escaped from its enclosure on a smallholding south of Johannesburg a little over a week ago.

She was finally discovered in the early morning hours and euthanized for the protection of the Walkers Fruit Farms neighborhood.

Sheba had assaulted a man, a pig, and two dogs.

The dogs were euthanized owing to the severity of their injuries, while the guy apparently made a full recovery after being hospitalized.

At the time of publication, the condition of the pig is still unclear.
