The TMPD tactical members with crime intelligence and other law enforcement officer arrests suspects planning a cross pavement robbery

On June 30, 2022, the TMPD tactical unit, along with other law enforcement personnel, responded to information concerning individuals who were preparing a cross-pavement robbery.

A C class Mercedes Benz vehicle was seen leaving the suspects’ home in Atteridgeville before the squad arrived, and the suspects’ house was located there. Four suspects were discovered as the officers approached the residence strategically.

Two military signal jammers, a gun, and many sets of licence plates were all found inside the home.

Additionally, a Suzuki Swift with manipulated vin numbers was found.

The four suspects were detained for conspiring to commit robbery, having an unlicensed weapon and ammunition, and having a vehicle that was possibly stolen.

Two of the suspects have connections to other Tshwane pavement robberies. More investigation will be done in this case.

Bravo to all participating teams.
