The Southampton home of a film producer was damaged by fire

The gorgeous Southampton home of a Hollywood producer was completely destroyed in an early Friday morning fire, according to officials.

Fire broke out shortly before 12:24 a.m. on the Long Island mansion of “National Treasure” producer Oren Aviv, according to officials.

Chris Brenner, a fire department spokesman, stated that the blaze was extinguished within 30 minutes, but the property was a total loss.

According to officials, no one was at the mansion where construction was taking place when the fire broke out.

The mansion was purchased in June by Oren Aviv, a film producer known for his work on the Nick Cage film “National Treasure.”

Aviv purchased the mansion in June, when the 2,7-acre property was advertised for approximately $6.5 million, according to Zillow.

Brenner stated that local fire marshals are still investigating the cause of the fire.

There were no injuries recorded.
