On January 30, 2022, Alexis Ware, a 21-year-old mother of two from Greenville, South Carolina, was reported missing.
She was last seen in Anderson, South Carolina, where she had gone to meet her ex-boyfriend at a gas station.
Despite an extensive search by authorities, no evidence or leads have been found to explain her disappearance.
During the investigation, Alexis’s red car was discovered in McCormick county, two counties away from where she was last seen.
Her personal belongings were found in the vehicle, but there was no sign of Alexis.

They both departed in separate cars.
That same evening, Patterson called Alexis’s mother and described their parting.

Alexis never returned home and has not been heard from since.

Her phone’s location was tracked to Anderson, South Carolina, at 8:15 pm on the night of her disappearance.
The investigation led them to an apartment complex in Anderson where her car was spotted on CCTV footage.
Unfortunately, the footage was unclear, and they could not determine if Alexis was driving the car.
On February 1, 2022, Alexis’s red 2019 Honda Accord was found abandoned and covered in mud in a hunting field in McCormick, South Carolina, approximately thirty miles south of Anderson.
Her cell phone, purse, and ID were all found inside the car.
Furthermore, a bag of clothes was found in the trunk, and her hair bonnet was found outside the vehicle.
TJ Patterson stated that he went home after their meeting and went to work the next day.
The police are investigating all possible leads and avenues to bring justice and closure to Alexis’s family and loved ones.
Despite the passage of one year, the case of Alexis’s disappearance remains unsolved.
