The Savage Safari Challenge

On Friday’s episode of I’m a Celebrity… South Africa, six celebrities were chained together in pairs and competed to be the first to free themselves in the Savage Safari Challenge.

Andy Whyment and Jordan Banjo were the first to hit the buzzer and win the challenge, while Gillian McKeith and Shaun Ryder struggled with snakes in the first box.

Ryder had earlier announced that he had chosen McKeith as his partner, much to her dismay.

Reflecting on their experience, Ryder said that he had loved it, despite being a slow learner.

He joked that he and McKeith were “off to get married” following their previous clashes in the 2010 series.

Contraband in Camp

Earlier in the episode, tensions flared briefly in the camp when several celebrities were busted for bringing contraband items into camp.

Myleene Klass, Gillian McKeith, and former royal butler Paul Burrell were all found guilty.

McKeith shocked her campmates by revealing she had smuggled in “a whole tuck shop” in her underpants, including various spices, stock cubes, and 30 tea bags.
