A 25-year-old mother named Shamaiya Hall was arrested for allegedly stabbing her five young children, resulting in the death of three of them.
The tragedy occurred when a child protective services worker made an unannounced visit to their home in Italy, Texas. The children, who were all of elementary school age, were found with knife wounds, and the surviving two were airlifted to a hospital, with their current condition unknown.
Hall was suspected of having unsupervised visitations with her children, which prompted the surprise visit by the CPS officer. The children were under the guardianship of another relative after being removed from Hall’s care by the CPS.
