Terrible crash at Saulsville, Tshwane, results in deaths of seven people


On WF Nkomo Street near Schurveberg Road in Saulsville, which is located in the City of Tshwane, Gauteng, there was a terrible accident involving a minibus cab and a light motor vehicle. At least seven individuals were confirmed killed as a result of the crash.

It was apparently at 06:30 in the morning on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 when the event took place.

According to the Tshwane Emergency Services Department, when they got on the site, they discovered a light motor vehicle that had crashed head on with a minibus taxi, and that the minibus taxi still had many patients who were still stuck inside.

After examining the area and the victims, the paramedics determined that all three male patients had passed away at the site. The three people who were killed were passengers in the minibus taxi, and the “Jaws of Life” were required in order for the firemen to remove their corpses from the minibus.

Charles Mabaso, a spokesperson for the Tshwane Emergency Services, stated that a female patient who had been extricated from the light motor vehicle (a black Mercedes Benz sedan) was transported to Kalafong Hospital in a critical condition, while a male patient from the same vehicle was transported with minor to moderate injuries.

According to Mabaso, four of the six patients who were taken to Kalafong Hospital in a very serious condition were pronounced dead later, increasing the total number of those who passed away to seven.
