A suspect in the murders of four Muslim men in Albuquerque has been apprehended.
Over the course of nine months, each of the guys was fatally shot within a five-mile radius of each other. No information on the culprit was immediately available, but Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina tweeted on Tuesday, ‘We tracked down the car thought to be involved in a recent murder of a Muslim guy in Albuquerque.’ The driver was apprehended, and he is our main suspect in the killings.’
The news comes only two days after the Albuquerque Police Department published images of a dark gray car they think was used to transport the victims, along with a $20,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of a suspect.
More information will be provided later this afternoon during a press conference in Albuquerque.
