Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 2 heaped tsp baking powder

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • Milk to mix

  • Handful sultanas

  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Rub butter into flour, add sugar, salt, baking powder and sultanas.
  • Slowly mix well-beaten egg and milk, keeping mixture as stiff as possible.
  • Place in heaps on greased tin and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake 7-10 minutes in 200°C oven.
