The mayor’s office is alarmed by a video showing a bikini-clad lady exiting a firetruck and entering a strip club in San Jose, California.
“We cannot have a life-critical emergency rescue apparatus reduced to a fraternity party bus,” stated San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo after the footage surfaced on Friday.
Thursday’s video uploaded to the San Jose Foos account shows a firetruck parked in front of the local strip spot The Pink Poodle.
After a few moments, the truck’s door opens, and a brunette woman wearing a string bikini and platform stilettos struts into the club.
A video shared on Thursday claimed to show a woman in a bikini and extremely high heels exiting a San Jose Fire Department truck and entering a neighboring strip club.
The video was shared by the Instagram account San Jose Foos after it was initially posted by a private user.
The Pink Poodle’s website promises that it is “San Jose’s only all-nude strip club,” although it is unknown if the unidentified woman actually employed there.
The San Jose Fire Department initiated an inquiry on Friday after the ‘concerning’ video gained popularity.
Robert Sapien, Jr., the fire chief of San Jose, stated, “An inquiry has been opened to uncover the facts surrounding the video.”
“Appropriate action will be taken if the results of an internal investigation uncover inappropriate activity by any Department employees,” he stated.
A Friday release from the city’s fire department stated, ‘The department’s mission is to serve the community with civility and professionalism. As a result, all comments regarding the conduct of its employees is taken seriously.’
It stated, ‘As a condition of their employment, all City of San José personnel are obliged to adhere to the Code of Ethics Policy’
Friday, San Jose Fire Chief Robert Sapien, Jr. stated that an inquiry had been launched into an incident in which a woman who seemed to be a dancer departed a firetruck and entered a local strip club.

The video, which was originally posted by a private user, shows a fire engine with flashing lights and an E4 insignia parked after dark in front of the South Bascom Avenue club.
Commenters on Instagram recorded a variety of emotional responses to the video, including one person who said, “Every SJFD wife is phoning her husband right now to find out where he is.”
Another noted, “She was warming up on the poles at the station.”
‘Fireman had a shift on his birthday, and the boys took care of it,’ stated the owner of the account @chronicrhythm.
A user identified as vybehitz merely typed “respect.”
According to its website, The Pink Poodle has been in business in San Jose since 1963. The club did not react to The Daily Mail’s phone call.
