Stephen Bear is a ‘broken man’, ‘crying for days’ and is on suicide watch after he was sentenced to 21months

According to recent reports, Stephen Bear, the former reality star who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, has been struggling in prison and is allegedly on suicide watch.

The claims suggest that Bear is a “broken man” and has been crying for days since he was sentenced to 21 months in prison for sharing a private sex video of Georgia Harrison on his OnlyFans website.

It is believed that he never expected to be jailed and was completely unprepared for it. He is currently on a plan for prisoners at risk of self-harm or suicide, which includes regular cell checks and a buddy system.

Bear’s girlfriend-fiancée Jessica Smith is standing by him and has been sending him cards, emails, voicemails, and has booked a visit to HMP Chelmsford to keep his morale up.

She posted a video on TikTok explaining that she had sent Bear messages and booked a visit to see him, which received backlash on social media. Smith defended herself by saying that people who didn’t have a partner in prison wouldn’t understand her actions.

Bear shared the sex tape, which had been captured on CCTV without Ms Harrison’s knowledge, on OnlyFans and made £2,000 from it. Despite his conviction and sentencing, Ms Smith has vowed to remain at Bear’s side “through thick and thin” and claims he did not receive a fair trial.

Conservative former minister Vicky Ford mentioned the case during an International Women’s Day debate and praised Georgia Harrison for being brave and determined to see Bear stand trial for what he had done.
