A flight attendant on a Spirit Airlines flight from Dallas to Los Angeles recently left passengers dismayed after she made a cheeky intercom rant that went viral.

In the footage, the woman, who remains unidentified, joked around with the passengers about fictional fees that she may apply, presumably to mock budget airlines that charge for extras such as food, drinks, seat choice, and extra legroom.

“No, we do not have sockets for you to charge up your phones because if we did, we will charge you,” she said.

“No, we do not have blankets for you because if we did, this is Spirit and we will charge you.”

Passengers quickly caught on and joined in on the joke.

The member of cabin crew told travellers to store carry-on luggage all the way under the seat in front of them to ensure it doesn’t become a safety hazard.

He then joked that even Gucci bags should be stored under the seat, and “Especially if it’s a fake Gucci bag.

What happened was, when we reach 5,000 feet, the Gs going to be falling off, the handle gonna be breaking, you gonna get to Philly with an Ucci bag.”

The intercom rant by the Spirit Airlines flight attendant may not have been to everyone’s liking, and it is unclear whether the airline has taken any action in response.
