South Africa: Maluleka Claims Kaizer Chiefs Fans Want To See His Downfall

George Maluleka, a former player for Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, seemed to be dissatisfied with Amakhosi fans.

Maluleka claims that Kaizer Chiefs fans want him fail.

We learned the shocking information that Maluleka rejected Amakhosi’s new contract offer in favour of a better offer at Sundowns in 2020.

Sadly, the 33-year-old midfielder did not get enough playing time at the PSL champions before making a shocking switch to AmaZulu recently.

The former SuperSport United and Ajax Cape Town star also claims that Chiefs fans were pleased to hear of his departure from Chloorkop.

“A lot of people will say I failed because they might still be bitter about the whole Chiefs thing,” Maluleka told Soccer Laduma’s Tumi Gabonamong in their latest edition.

“I know that’s the case because if you look at all the social media posts out there, the negative comments, they come from Kaizer Chiefs fans.

“They are really trying to hurt me because they were hurt with my move.

“But they don’t know the nitty-gritty of that move.

“People can say whatever they want to say… People want to see me down. They want to see me fail,” the Tembisa-born player added.
