Since Queen Elizabeth II died, the national anthem lyrics will change

On September 8, upon the Queen’s death, her eldest son, Prince Charles, will ascend to the throne.
As a result of Charles’ accession to the throne, the lyrics to “God Save the Queen” are being changed to “God Save the King.”
Except for pronouns and the replacement of “queen” with “king,” the lyrics will stay unchanged.
Something is being loaded.

The lyrics to the national anthem of the United Kingdom will alter now that Queen Elizabeth II has passed away.

“God Save the Queen” will become “God Save the King” when Prince Charles, the eldest son of the Queen, ascends to the throne.

The only changes will be that “queen” will be replaced with “king” and “she” and “her” will be replaced with “he” and “him.”

Elizabeth I passed away on September 8, at the age of 96. She was the world’s longest-reigning monarch, having ruled for seven decades.

According to the official Royal Family website, “God Save the King” is the hymn’s original title; it was penned in 1745 and became the UK’s national anthem at the beginning of the 19th century.

In 1952, when the Queen ascended to the throne, “God Save the King” was sung in honor of King George VI.
