Shylah Rodden, age 26, had brain damage and injuries to her pelvis, arms, legs, and back after she was struck by a roller coaster on September 25 at the Royal Melbourne Show.

She was struck by the ride as she attempted to rescue her phone from beneath the train tracks.

Ms. Rodden was transported to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and placed in an induced coma immediately.

However, one of her cousins informed on Wednesday that she had finally awoken.
