Shemar Moore’s visit to his mother’s cemetery with his brand-new bundle of joy was bittersweet.
The 52-year-old “Criminal Minds” actor and his fiancée Jesiree Dizon had their first child, a daughter named Frankie, in January.
Moore was eager to introduce his newborn son Frankie to his late mother Marilyn, who passed away in 2020, in his first weeks as a parent.
The “S.W.A.T.” actor shared a picture of the sweet occasion with Dizon and his newborn daughter on Instagram on Thursday.
“Mom’s wish was for me to have children and provide mommy with some grandchildren,” Shemar, Jesiree, Frankie, and the ghost of Grandma Marilyn said. After some time, Momma’s desire has come true. Alongside the photograph of the group, Moore wrote.
He said, “I have done much and have known the Great, the Good, the Light, and the Dark… But I couldn’t handle this on my own.
Moore and Dizon can be seen toasting to his late mother while clutching a glass of wine in the touching picture.
“Jesiree Dizon, we re-entered one other’s lives, discovered love once again, and together we had a magnificent little human… I’ll refer to her as “My little miracle,” Frankie Moore said.

Later that day, the actor posted a touching video of his kid lying on his chest on Instagram.

In a recent interview, Moore spoke about how his mother would be beyond proud of him for becoming a father at the age of 52.
Shemar Moore said on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” last month that he is 52 years old and that his mother is now in paradise. He also mentioned that February 8 marks the anniversary of his mother’s passing.
And on February 8th, I’m going to fulfill one of her wishes because Shemar Moore is about to become a father in real life, Moore said.
“I’m very happy. I apologize that she can’t be here. For a time, I was concerned that it was a case of “that ship has sailed,” but God had my back and everything was in place, he said. “I know that once God does call my name after I had this experience, I’ll be able to go to paradise whole,” the speaker says. “It’s going to be the finest part of my — my life is fairly wonderful.”
