Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity nuns, according to Mark Houck, the Catholic pro-life father of seven who was detained last month after a contentious early-morning FBI search at his house, have posted a picture of his family on Mother Teresa’s grave in Kolkata, India.
He stated, “They put it directly on the crypt and they pray over that picture every morning.

Houck made the remarks on Saturday in Boston, where he was a featured speaker at The Men’s March, a pro-life gathering.
Houck was detained on September 23 on allegations that he assaulted a Planned Parenthood clinic escort outside a Philadelphia abortion clinic in October 2021, in violation of the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. Houck has pled not guilty to the allegations, claiming that he pushed the guy to stop him from verbally harassing one of Houck’s kids.
Houck has received support from Catholic bishops, most recently German Cardinal Gerhard Müller, who paid a visit to the Houck family on October 12 at their home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Department of Justice and the FBI have come under harsh criticism from lawmakers, clergy, pro-lifers, and media personalities since his arrest at his family’s home. A web-based fundraising campaign has so far brought in more than $382,000 for the family.
The National Men’s March to Abolish Abortion and Rally for Personhood, which took place in Boston, is a nationwide pro-life march that encourages men to speak up for life. The march was conducted the year before in Baltimore at the autumn meeting of the American bishops.
Houck’s speech started with a discussion of his reliance on Jesus in the face of his family’s difficulties.
“Don’t be terrified, first of all. It’s nice that this is occurring to me. It provides assurance that one is doing God’s holy will. Amen? “, he said to the group.

Since his arrest, many individuals, including the Missionaries of Charity, have told Houck that they would pray for him, according to Houck. Prior to publishing, CNA requested a statement from the Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata but did not hear back.
“People are praising God for us in Uganda and Europe. People are praying for us all across the globe. In Boston, people are praying. That gives us a lot of hope,” Houck remarked.
Houck informed the marchers, who were dressed in suits for the occasion, that one guy, who called himself “a rotten Catholic,” said, “After witnessing what happened to you, I’m going back to the Church.”
