January has yet another arrival of interest!
Shay Mooney of the country duo Dan + Shay shared a photo of his wife Hannah Love Mooney and their baby son on Friday to mark the birth of their third child.
The Grammy winner, who already shares boys Asher, 5, and Ames, 2, with Hannah, said that their third son, who was born on Tuesday, has been given the name Abram Shay.
“Abram Shay Mooney 1/17/23. “Thankful doesn’t even begin to cover it,” he captioned the video of him cradling his son while performing the hit song “When I Pray for You” by Dan + Shay.
Hannah shared the same video on Instagram with the caption, “First song sang to the newest family member… Abram Baby Shay, you are very cherished and prayed for frequently. We are grateful for everything God has done for us this week. 1/17/23.”
The couple revealed Hannah’s pregnancy in August with a video in which they asked their sons if they desired a third brother or sister.
“Remember when Mommy said they will contact us this week to inform us whether we’re having a boy or a girl? Do you anticipate having a baby brother or a baby sister?” She questioned Asher.
Abram is the third child of Shay and Hannah.
Asher said, “I wanted a baby sister, so it’s a baby sister,” before Hannah inquired if he would be disappointed if it was another boy.
Asher responded, “Yes, because I want a sister,” before Ames echoed his brother’s sentiments.
Ames appears to accept the news positively when Hannah informs him that she is having another boy.
Shay recently opened up about his incredible fitness journey, disclosing that he shed a staggering 50 pounds.
The singer posted shirtless before-and-after photographs on Instagram earlier this month with the caption, “Consistency. I transformed my entire world in just six months. No tricks or trends. Only consistence”
He said, “If that exhausted guy on the left can do it, so can you.”
Mooney earlier stated on social media that he decided to lose weight since he “did not recognize” himself.
The weight loss journey made him feel “more alive” than ever before, according to him.
