Partygate-themed banners mocking Boris Johnson have been waved by Glastonbury attendees at the music festival.

In reference to the PM’s assertion that lockdown-busting meetings were not parties, several flags said, “This is a business event.”

It happens after Mr. Johnson suffered two costly losses in the by-elections for Wakefield, Tiverton, and Honiton.

The VIP festival attendees who descended on Worthy Farm this afternoon included Love Island’s Laura Whitmore, model Daisy Lowe, and Game of Thrones actors Kit Harington and his wife Rose Leslie.

Yesterday, revelers were seen dancing around in scanty attire in the scorching sun, but by this morning, the weather in Somerset had changed considerably.

Raincoats and macs were the new dress code, and some even built up umbrellas to protect themselves from the rain.

Today’s festival was struck by showers, and more were expected this afternoon before easing off into the evening.

However, there is a chance of severe rain tomorrow and further showers on Sunday.
