Sebastian and wife, Jules, are spotted relaxing at children’s cricket match

Guy Sebastian and his wife Jules were recently spotted relaxing at a children’s cricket match.

The couple was seen sitting in fold-up camp chairs, with Jules holding a coffee cup and their family dog, Ronald, beside her.

The Battle Scars singer cut a casual figure in a T-shirt, shorts, baseball hat, and sunglasses, while his influencer wife opted for an oversize purple blouse and sunglasses.

They were watching the match with other parents, with Sebastian occasionally clapping in support.

However, this happy display contrasts with the ongoing legal battle between Sebastian and his elderly neighbour, Phillip Hanslow.

Hanslow was charged in January with threatening to kill the musician and kicking over his fence during an alleged altercation on their adjoining properties in Maroubra.

Sebastian was granted an apprehended violence order (AVO) against Hanslow, which banned him from contacting the singer or setting foot on his property.

During a TV interview on Friday, Sebastian denied allegations made against him in court. He claimed that there was a lot said about the court matter “that’s not true” and that it was an ongoing issue, not an isolated event.

He alleged that Hanslow had caused him to have to call the police. The singer also stressed that he did not take out the AVO; the police decided to do that on his behalf.

Sebastian was supposed to provide security footage of the incident by March 9, but he did not meet the deadline.

The magistrate gave him an extension until March 23, and failure to comply with the subpoena could result in his arrest. The matter is expected to return to court in May.

Celebrity lawyer Bryan Wrench, representing Hanslow, told the court that the alleged altercation started because Mr Hanslow was fixing his fence to match the look of the singer’s concrete fortress.

He said he did not think the matter would be resolved and that it would likely go to hearing. Outside court, Hanslow told Daily Mail Australia that he wasn’t fussed by how the case concluded and that he wouldn’t even be there if Guy wasn’t famous.
