Scott Disick is attempting to “avoid controversy” in the wake of Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding.
The 39-year-old socialite dated reality star Kourtney, 43, from 2005 to 2015. She shares Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 7, with Kourtney, but is apparently eager to avoid any “drama” since marrying Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker in May of this year.
A source told “Entertainment Tonight” that Scott has recently been relaxed and low-key. He has been doing his best to avoid controversy and turmoil and be a terrific father.”
The allegations come just weeks after the Poosh founder said she was “upset” when Scott – who first appeared alongside Kourtney and her famous family on “Keeping up with the Kardashians” in 2007 – was brought into the first season of Hulu’s “The Kardashians” earlier this year, as it interfered with the preparations for her “fairytale” wedding.
She stated, “I was dismayed that they chose to use a portion of my fable. Then it just disturbed me that these individuals, whoever they are, are deciding what my story is.
“When I originally watched it, I didn’t have a problem with it because I believe we’re so accustomed to the way we’ve done things for so long, and that sort of information would have been given. I believe it worried me because I felt as though this was my fairy tale.
“And I said to myself, ‘Why can’t we depict the happy ending?’” Why must we concentrate on this?’ I understand that it is television and blah blah blah, but I was not having it. You wouldn’t do this to anyone else, I thought.”
